Are the Gravel Games open to everyone?

Yes. The Gravel Games are open to all participants aged 16 and over, licensed or not, provided they meet the participation conditions set out in the rules.

Do I need a sports licence to take part?

Accepted Answer

No. Non-licensed participants can take part by presenting the required documents: PPS (French Health Prevention Pass, mandatory for non-licensed runners) for Gravel Running, a medical certificate or sports licence for Gravel Cycling.

Can I take part in several events?

Yes. You can register for one or several events, subject to schedule and organisational constraints.

Is there a combined ranking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A combined ranking will reward participants who complete both the 20 km Gravel Running and the 105 km Gravel Cycling.

Are the hikes timed?

No. The walking hikes (10 km and 15 km) and the 35 km Gravel hike are non-competitive discovery routes, without timing or ranking.

Are the walking tours free for children?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Both walking tours (10 km and 15 km) are free for under-15s, with on-site registration.

What kind of bike can I use?

Gravel and Cyclocross bikes are allowed. Mountain bikes and electrically assisted bikes (e-bikes) are not permitted on the timed races.

Where do the Gravel Games take place?

The events take place at the Camp général de Castelnau (military camp), in the town of La Cavalerie (Aveyron, France), in the heart of the Larzac plateau.

Are the routes marked out?

Yes. All routes are fully marked and secured by the organisation's teams.

Will there be aid stations?

Yes. Aid stations are planned along the timed routes. Their number and location will be detailed in each event's technical sheet.

Will GPX routes be available?

Yes. GPX tracks will be made available to participants a few days before the event.

Are companions welcome?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Companions are welcome and can enjoy the Gravel Games village, entertainment and catering areas. Access and security rules for the camp will be sent to each participant.

Can I cancel or transfer my registration?

Cancellation, refund and transfer conditions are set out in the rules and the Terms and Conditions of Sale applicable at the time of registration.
